Receptionist
Ruby is in her final year of study at the University of Auckland studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Geography and Marine Science. Ruby has worked as a Learn to Swim Instructor over the past years teaching the younger generation the valuable skill of swimming.
Conservation and sustainability is import to Ruby. She has a special interest in Geographic information Systems which allows the urban and rural environment to be analysed over time.
Outside the Lab, you will find Ruby in the swimming pool at early hours of the morning swimming alongside her team members at the North Shore Swimming Club. Her goal is to qualify for the upcoming Commonweath games. When she isn't training, she is out exploring the broader Auckland region going on bush walks and hunting down waterfalls.
